Transit Operators

Public transportation provides greater freedom, access, opportunity and choice for Americans. Southeastern Pennsylvania is served by multiple agencies providing public transportation to the public.

SEPTA

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) provides public transportation services in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties, with selected rail service in New Jersey and the State of Delaware.

AMTRAK

Amtrak provided intercity rail for the entire northeast corridor. 30th Street Station is Philadelphia's Amtrak hub. Trains depart or Washington, New York, and Harrisburg frequently throughout the day. Visit Amtrak's website for more information

PATCO

DART

DART is Delaware's transit provider. DART provides transit service for the greater Wilmington area. Visit DART's website for more information.

NJ Transit

Transportation Management Associations

Transportation Management Associations (TMA) provide local support for the transportation industry. Many run local circulation shuttles, as well as provide information about SEPTA and other regional transit alternatives. TMAs provide the workforce with commuting alternatives.
